This is a 3D printed item, using a fine ABS like resin.
Photos 1, 2 and 3 show the parts as they will be supplied before any clean-up. The kit includes:
- 2x Blue Pullman power car body panels
- 2x roof plugs
- 4x Blue Pullman doors
These parts are designed to work with our Blue Pullman cab fronts (available separately) and are profiled to slot together and fit the profile of a Tri-ang O Gauge BigBig train BR Mk2 coach. The cab fronts include a locating slot for the coach floor to clip into, in the same way as it did for an unconverted coach.
These are genuine photos and not digital representations.
You simply need to cut the coach body, with a straight perpendicular cut, between the 4th and 5th windows (counted from the non toilet end), add a strip of plasticard to the inside edge of the coach to form a lip and attach the two parts together (see photos 4, 5, 6 and 7).
Photo 7 shows the roof plugs to cover the holes where the original door mechanism was located.
These body sections were commissioned by a customer who had bought the cab fronts and wanted a quick way to create a cost effective representation of an iconic British Rail locomotive and coaches using the Tri-ang Big Big Train Mk2 coaches as a base.
All variants of the Blue Pullman bogies are available separately.
