This is a 3D printed item, using a fine ABS like resin.
Photo 1, 2 and 3 shows an example of the items as you will receive them, a set of four buffers for an O Gauge BR CDA wagon. Photo 4 onwards show the buffers being used to replace the incorrect buffers on a Dapol CDA wagon.
These are genuine photos and not digital representations. The buffers are ready to fit and if you are upgrading a Dapol CDA wagon, they simply slot into the original locating holes with no modification required to the wagon.
The buffers can be taken apart for painting the buffer bases using a 2mm allen key. The buffer heads have been printed in a dark resin to remove the need for painting this part.
Bear in mind the size of these items when looking at the detail in the photos.
These were designed to provide a more detailed and correctly sized sprung buffer for CDA wagons, but may also be suitable for other modern image wagons and rolling stock.
