This is a 3D printed item, using a fine ABS like resin.
The first 3 photos show an example of the items as you will receive them, being a set of four buffers for an O Gauge 7mm scale BR CDA wagon or other wagons using this buffer type. Photos 4 and 5 show them fitted to a Dapol CDA hopper wagon. The buffers have been designed so that the buffer heads remain horizontal and do not rotate.
These are genuine photos and not digital representations. The buffers are ready to fit and if you are upgrading a Dapol wagon, they simply slot into the original square locating holes with no modification required to the wagon.
The buffers can be taken apart to allow the buffer bases to be painted using a 2mm allen key. The buffer heads have been printed in a dark resin to remove the need for painting this part.
Bear in mind the size of these items when looking at the detail in the photos.
These were designed to provide a more detailed and correctly sized sprung buffer for CDA wagons using the rectangular buffer type, but may also be suitable for other modern image wagons and rolling stock.
