BR Mk2 COACH EXTENSION upgrade for TRI-ANG BIG BIG TRAIN (O Gauge 7mm scale)

This is a 3D printed 72mm extension piece (additional window and central door) for extending a Tri-ang Big Big Train BR Mk2 coach to a more scale length.

The photos show the extension piece and also attached to a Tri-ang Big Big Train Mk2 Coach from the 1960's (courtesy of a happy customer who had been looking for some of these to simplify the process of extending the coaches and avoiding the need to use two coaches). These are genuine photos taken with a full frame SLR camera and not digital representations. 

To fit the extension, you need to:

• cut your coach halfway between the window frames (I use a piece of masking tape and a square to mark the cut, then use a junior hacksaw to make the vertical cuts and then clean up with a file).
• glue a section of plasticard around the inside edge of each coach half.
• smooth the front and rear edge of the extension.
• The extension piece will then slot neatly into place over the plasticard extensions and follow the original profile of the coach sides and roof.
• Finally fill / smooth the join and tumblehome.

The extension has been designed to fit nicely onto a Tri-ang Big Big Train Coach and uses the same window profiles and moulding lines as the original Tri-ang coach. The integral door matches the separate doors that we also supply for adding doors to the ends of the Big Big Train coaches.

Bear in mind the size of these items when looking at the detail in the photos.
