WAGON AXLEBOX SET for MINIATURE / NARROW GAUGE (x5) (O9 Gauge 7mm scale)

This is a 3D printed item, using a fine ABS like resin and is five sets of Sir Arthur Heywood style axleboxes (20 axleboxes in total) for O9 scale miniature railway wagons (7mm / foot) running on 9mm track.

These were commissioned by a customer who had been using our wagons for his O9 gauge railway and wanted to use the axleboxes to improve the appearance of the Peco N Gauge wagon chassis that he was using to create his own wagons.

This axleboxes are modelled on a Sir Arthur Heywood design running on a number of light railways.

The axleboxes include a recess that will accept wheels with standard 15mm point to point steel axles (as used in our range of O9 wagons), but are primarily designed to be a cosmetic addition to an N gauge chassis.

The photos are examples of the axleboxes items as you will receive them, but 5 sets of 4 axleboxes will be supplied to complete 5 wagons (20 axleboxes). 

Bear in mind the size of these items when looking at the detail in the photos. The axlebox sits on an  8.6mm x 2.0mm base, and is 5.2mm high.

O9 scale modelling is a nice alternative to the traditional narrow gauge and can be used to create a smaller, more agricultural addition to any O gauge layout.
