HUDSON HOPPER WAGON CHASSIS for MINIATURE / NARROW GAUGE (x3) (O9 Gauge 7mm scale)

These are 3D printed items, using a fine ABS like resin and is a wagon chassis as used on the side tipping hopper wagon (7mm / foot) running on 9mm track. Three chassis are supplied and will require wheels (ideally 7mm diameter with 15mm point to point steel axles) and couplings to complete.

These were commissioned by a customer who was looking to create bespoke wagons on their O gauge miniature gauge estate / mining railway of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

This chassis is modelled on that used on the Hudson hoppers running on a number of light railways.

The photos show an example of the items as you will receive them.

To complete the chassis you will need to add wheels and couplings (not supplied). The chassis has slots to accept standard Peco GR-102 009 couplings (not supplied) that slot neatly into the bodywork. Alternatively, holes have been included in the chassis so that a pin and bar coupling arrangement can be implemented (not included).

Bear in mind the size of these items when looking at the detail in the photos. The chassis are 40mm long and 19mm wide.

O9 scale modelling is a nice alternative to the traditional narrow gauge and can be used to create a smaller, more agricultural addition to any O gauge layout.
