This is a 3D printed item, using a fine ABS like resin, being a kit of parts to create the North Eastern Railway Clerestory Inspection Saloon, no. 21661, currently at the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, in O Gauge, 7mm scale.
The kit comprises of the following parts:
- Main body (sides, ends and buffer beams as one piece)
- Floor and chassis
- Partitions (toilet partition and kitchen partition with appropriate detailing)
- Cupboard for the attendant's compartment
- Cupboard and stove for the kitchen compartment
- Roof vents (set of 10)
- Bogies (with running boards)
- Bogie end plates (with and without NEM sockets)
- Battery box
- Dynamo and dynamo regulator box
- Brake cylinder and brake levers
- Queen posts for trussing
- Buffers (set of 4)
Nuts and bolts are also provided for fixing the body and the bogies.
The coach requires wheels (3' 7" standard OO disc wheelset) and couplings. An interior seat and table set is available separately to fit out the interior.
Photos 1 to 3 are of parts are as they will be supplied, before any finishing / smoothing. The remaining photos show the kit assembled without any finishing / smoothing and with wheels and couplings fitted (not supplied). These are genuine photos and not digital representations.
