This is a 3D printed item, using a fine ABS like resin and comprises of 2 sets of hangers (to complete two bogies - one coach), bringing the brakes shoes into line with the original Tri-ang wheels.
The photos show the hangers attached to a Tri-ang Big Big Train Mk2 Coach from the 1960's (courtesy of a happy customer who had been looking for some of these for ages).
These are genuine photos and not digital representations. You simply need to smooth the top edge of each hanger and they will slot neatly into place within a slot at the top of the bogies. The first photo shows one set of the hangers unfitted as they will be supplied, before any finishing / smoothing. The remaining photos show them fitted to a Tri-ang Big Big Train Mk2 coach.
The parts have been designed specifically to fit nicely onto a Tri-ang Big Big Train Coach coach. No modification is required apart from removing the original brake shoes.
Bear in mind the size of these items when looking at the detail in the photos. The coach and original bogie is not supplied.
These parts were commissioned originally to add detail to the Tri-ang Big Big Train coaches.
