This is a 3D printed item, using a fine ABS like resin.
The first 2 photos are examples of the items as you will receive them, before any clean up. The remaining photos are of the seats in an Ian Kirk Open 3rd coach and have had the print supports removed.
Each bay comprises of 4 pairs of bucket seats (enough parts to complete one bay within a Gresley Open Third coach with 1 blocks of 4 pairs of seats).
These are genuine photos taken with a full frame 35mm SLR and not digital representations. You simply need to remove the support pips from the lower edge of the seat with snips and gently sand them smooth with fine emery paper. They will then fit nicely into an Ian Kirk open 3rd coach (or perhaps another Gresley coach kit of your choice) and add in some very important and hard to create details.
Bear in mind the size of these items when looking at the detail in the photos. The height of the seats from floor to the top of the back is 25mm (this is 3mm taller than the "Low Back" versions - listed separately).
These parts were commissioned by colleagues building a rake of Ian Kirk Gresley coaches and I also have listings for the various Stones dynamos, oval torpedo vents, coach detailing parts and replacement heavy bogie side frames for the Ian Kirk 8' 6" Gresley bogies.
