This is a 3D printed item, using a fine ABS like resin.
The photos are examples of the items after removal of the supports, but before any clean up. The last two photos are of the same seats in an Ian Kirk Open 3rd coach.
This item comprises of 1 bays of seats, enough parts to complete one bay in a Gresley Open Third coach. Two options are available:
- 8 Bay: 14 double sided double seat plus 4 end / partition double seats (handed)
- 4 Bay: 6 double sided double seat plus 4 end / partition double seats (handed)
These seats are also suitable for BR Mk1 stock.
These are genuine photos taken with a full frame 35mm SLR . You simply need to remove the support pips from the lower edge of the seat with snips and gently sand them smooth with fine emery paper. They will then fit nicely into an Ian Kirk open 3rd coach (or perhaps another Gresley coach kit of your choice) and add in some very important and hard to create details.
Bear in mind the size of these items when looking at the detail in the photos. The height of the seats from floor to the top of the back is 26mm and they are each 22mm wide.
These parts were commissioned by colleagues building a rake of Ian Kirk Gresley coaches, and I also have listings for the various Stones dynamos, oval torpedo vents, coach detailing parts and replacement heavy bogie side frames for the Ian Kirk 8' 6" Gresley bogies.
