WAKEFIELD LUBRICATOR (one supplied) - 8x or 10x SIDE FEED (O Gauge 7mm scale)

This is a 3D printed item, using a fine ABS like resin.

The photos are of an example of the finished item as you will receive it (one lubricator will be supplied). These are genuine photos taken with a full frame 35mm SLR and not a digital representation. Note that the lubricator is available as either an 8x feed or a 10x feed. Only the 10x feed variant is shown in the photos.

 

You simply need to remove the print supports from under the flat base, clear the holes in the hexagon fittings for the pipework (using either a 0.4mm or 0.5mm drill bit) and it is ready to paint / fit. The actuating lever on the ratchet wheel extends below the base of the lubricator so that this can be located to pass through a slot in the footplate... if you have modelled one.

Bear in mind the size of these items when looking at the detail in the photos.

 

This 10x feed lubricator main housing is 7.8mm long, 6.0mm wide and 7.6mm high (11.9mm including the ratchet and flushing handle).

 

These parts were commissioned from an enthusiast who was distressed by the number of drill bits that were getting broken when drilling through brass or white-metal. The added bonus was the hex pipe nuts and "WAKEFIELD" wording on the ratchet!!
