This is a 3D printed item, using a fine ABS like resin and is a complete body to create an O scale miniature railway loco (7mm / foot) running on 16.5mm track. It is supplied in three parts; main body, roof and fuel tank.

This was commissioned by a customer who liked the O9 version and wanted an O16.5 version.

This engine is modelled on the Robert Hudson 20hp locos running on a number of narrow gauge lines, including the Abbey Light Railway before its closure.

The photos are of an example of the item as you will receive it (and then assembled with motorised chassis and track added... which are not included in the sale). These are genuine photos taken with a full frame 35mm SLR and not digital representations. No clean up has been done to the loco body in any of the photos.

You simply need to remove the two formers from the base and file / sand the inside of the bottom edges flat to enable the chassis to fit. The parts are then ready to paint. The fuel tank is fitted into the location hole behind the radiator and 4x 22mm lengths of 1mm brass rod are then inserted into the roof / body holes to locate the roof. You probably already have the brass rod in your modelling stash, but it is available as an option, if required.

It is designed to run on a Tenshodo (or equivalent) 28.7mm wheelbase chassis with 10.5mm wheels (not supplied). The extended axles slide into slots in the bodywork so the chassis fits into the body without modification. It also uses two standard Peco GR-102 009 couplings (not supplied) which slot neatly into the bodywork.

Bear in mind the size of these items when looking at the detail in the photos. The loco body is 63mm long, 33mm wide and 53mm high (including the wheels, but excluding the exhaust).
