SIMPLEX 20/28HP PLATE-FRAME "CARAVAN" NARROW GAUGE DIESEL [4E] (BODY ONLY) (O9 Gauge 7mm scale)

This is a 3D printed item, using a fine ABS like resin and is a complete body (with separate roof, engine and nameplates) to create an O scale model of "Caravan", being a Simplex loco manufactured by Motor Rail, but with a unique added cab structure (7mm / foot) running on 9mm track.

This was commissioned by a customer who was looking to extend their O9 gauge railway. 

Photos 2 and 3 are an example of the item as you will receive it. Photos 4 and 5 are of a body mounted to the KATO chassis, with the top moulding removed. The remaining photos show details of the finished loco (motorised chassis and track are not included in the sale). These are genuine photos taken with a full frame 35mm SLR and not digital representations. 

To fit the body, you simply need to remove the two formers from the base and it is ready to paint / fit to the chassis (not supplied) and add the couplings of your choice (not supplied).

The body is designed to run on a KATO 11-109 chassis (not supplied). The top chassis moulding needs to be removed (unclipped) from the chassis and the replacement motor "keeper" (supplied) clipped into place (see photo 4). 

Slots have been included in the body to attach two standard Peco GR-102 or GR-105 009 couplings (not supplied), that slot neatly into the bodywork... with a twist!
