STEAM TRAM "ENCLOSED" NARROW GAUGE LOCOMOTIVE [1d] (BODY ONLY) (O16.5 Gauge 7mm scale)

This is a 3D printed item, using a fine ABS like resin and is a complete body (with separate roof) to create an O scale miniature railway steam tram loco with enclosed sides (7mm / foot) running on 16.5mm track.

This was commissioned by a customer who liked the O9 gauge version and wanted an O16.5mm version. The loco is modelled as a typical steam tram rather than being based on a particular prototype.

Photos 1 to 5 are of an example of the item with the roof and chassis fitted. Photo 6 shows the parts as you will receive them before any clean up.

These are genuine photos taken with a full frame 35mm SLR and not digital representations. You simply need to snip out the base brace and smooth the front edge of the roof and it is then ready assemble / paint. Assembly requires the roof to be attached (using 4x 39.5mm lengths of 1.0mm brass rod - not supplied), fitting the modified chassis (not supplied) and adding the couplings of your choice (not supplied).

It is designed to run on a modified Tenshodo 26mm wheelbase chassis with 10.5mm disc wheels. The axle ends need to be removed / cut flush with the wheels and then the chassis simply clips into the body. It also uses two standard Peco GR-102 009 couplings (not supplied) that slot neatly into the bodywork. See photo 7.

Bear in mind the size of these items when looking at the detail in the photos. The loco body is 62mm long, 28mm wide and 53mm high (56mm high above the top of the rail with a Tenshodo chassis fitted).
