STEAM TRAM "ENCLOSED" NARROW GAUGE LOCOMOTIVE [1d] (BODY ONLY) (O9 Gauge 7mm scale)

This is a 3D printed item, using a fine ABS like resin and is a complete body (with separate roof) to create an O scale miniature railway steam tram loco with enclosed sides (7mm / foot) running on 9mm track.

This was commissioned by a customer who was looking to expand the range of industrial locos on her O9 gauge layout and was modelled to their requirements rather than being based on a particular prototype.

Photos 1 to 5 are of an example of the item with the roof and chassis fitted. Photo 6 shows the parts as you will receive them.

These are genuine photos taken with a full frame 35mm SLR and not digital representations. You simply need to snip out the base brace and smooth the roof front edge of the roof and it is then ready assemble / paint. Assembly requires the roof to be attached (using 4x 39.5mm lengths of 1.0mm brass rod - not supplied), fit the chassis (not supplied) and add the couplings of your choice (not supplied).

It is designed to run on a KATO 11-103 or KATO 11-109 chassis (available as an option) that simply clips into the body. It also uses two standard Peco GR-102 009 couplings (not supplied) that slot neatly into the bodywork (see photos 7, 8 and 9).

Bear in mind the size of these items when looking at the detail in the photos. The loco body is 62mm long, 28mm wide and 53mm high (55mm high above the top of the rail with a KATO chassis fitted).
