STEAM TRAM NARROW GAUGE LOCOMOTIVE with SADDLE TANK [1c] (BODY ONLY) (O16.5 Gauge 7mm scale)

This is a 3D printed item, using a fine ABS like resin and is a complete body (with separate roof) to create an O scale miniature railway steam tram loco with saddle tank (7mm / foot) running on 16.5mm track.

This was commissioned by a customer who liked the O9 gauge version and wanted some O16.5mm variations. The loco is modelled as a typical steam tram rather than being based on a particular prototype.

Photo 1 is an example of the item as you will receive it before any clean up and photo 2 shows it with the Tenshodo 26mm (10.5mm diameter disc wheel) chassis that it is designed to fit (not supplied).

 

The remaining 4 photos are of the body mounted to the chassis. The cab can accommodate a driver that is 42mm tall.

These are genuine photos taken with a full frame 35mm SLR and not digital representations. You simply need to snip out the cab supports and smooth the roof. It is then ready to paint / attach the roof / fit to the chassis (not supplied) and add the couplings (not supplied).

It is designed to run on a Tenshodo 26mm wheelbase chassis with 10.5mm disc wheels that simply clips into the body. It also uses two standard Peco GR-102 009 couplings (not supplied) that slot neatly into the bodywork.

Bear in mind the size of these items when looking at the detail in the photos. The loco body is 62mm long, 27mm wide and 53mm high.
