TRIANG HORNBY BATTLE SPACE BULB HOLDER for R341 / R341K SEARCHLIGHT WAGON [REPRODUCTION PART] (OO Gauge 4mm scale)

This item is a single reproduction bulb holder for the Tri-ang or Tri-ang Hornby Searchlight Wagon.

 

It is available in two colours:

 

Green - for the R341 Tri-ang version (with red searchlight housing) [see photo 1]

Khaki - for the R341K Tri-ang Hornby version (with khaki searchlight housing) [see photo 2]

The Searchlight Wagon is shown in the photos to show the item mounted on a wagon (the wagon is not included in the sale).

 

It is as near perfect a replica of the original holder as I think it is possible to create and includes the various moulding marks present on the originals. These holders are often missing and replacing it will make a dramatic improvement to the many incomplete models that are around and hopefully give you a working searchlight again.

 

The initial two photos are of an example of the holder as you will receive it. The next photos show the holder attached to a Tri-ang R341 Searchlight Wagon. The Khaki version will fit the later Tri-ang Hornby R341K Searchlight Wagon in Khaki.

 

The bulb holder slots directly into the hole in the same way as the original and twists to lock the bulb and connector into place, with no clean up required.

 

These parts were commissioned originally to bring my childhood Tri-ang Battle Space range back to life and made them fit for display again.
