TRIANG STEPS for R115 TRANSCONTINENTAL CABOOSE [REPRODUCTION PART] (OO Gauge 4mm scale)

This item is a 3D printed reproduction step in grey plastic for the first / early version of the Tri-ang R115 Transcontinental Caboose (the Caboose wagon is presented to show the item mounted on a wagon and the wagon is not included in the sale).

 

It is as near perfect a replica of the original dish as I think it is possible to create, but includes a lip in the bottom edge where it meets the floor to enable a stronger fixing for the repair and also to correctly locate the step in the right place. These steps are very easily broken and replacing them will make a dramatic improvement to the many incomplete models that are around. The step has been designed to fit in all four corners and is available as a set of 2 or 4 steps.

 

The first photo is of an example of the set of four steps as you will receive them (in grey). The next photos show the process for attaching the steps to a Tri-ang R115 Transcontinental Caboose.

These parts were commissioned by a customer who wanted to bring his collection of Cabooses back to life and make them fit for display again.
