WAGON / COACH UNIVERSAL BRAKE SHOES x24 (Double Brake Hanger) (O Gauge 7mm scale)

This is a 3D printed item, using a fine ABS like resin and comprises of 24x universal wagon / coach brake shoes for a double (either side of the shoe) brake hanger. The shoes have a 0.8mm holes for the brake bar and a 0.5mm hole for the attachment of the two brake hangers. The brake pad is 2.0mm wide and curved to suit 3' 7" diameter wheels.

Bear in mind the size of these items when looking at the detail in the photos. 

 

These parts were commissioned by a customer who builds etched brass kits, but wanted a more authentic brake shoe than the typical laminated brass variant. Additionally, the use of a plastic brake shoe reduces the likelihood of short circuits across the wheels.
